Playing Cupid Valentine’s Party

Cupid

Throw a children’s valentine party where everyone’s a little matchmaker.

Before the Party

  1. Send out cupid-themed invitations to your Valentine’s Day party.
  2. Order or bake cookies shaped like hearts with frosting arrows through them.
  3. Place your order for customized My Fruit Roll-Ups at least 15 days before the party. Add an image of cupid to your design.
    • Suggested message: As Hadley’s friend, you’re a perfect match!

At the Party

  1. Play cupid with a revised version of “pin the tail on the donkey.”
    • Instead of a donkey, use a poster with a small pink heart inside of a large red heart.
    • In place of tails, give the kids paper arrows. See which blindfolded kid can pin the arrow closest to the pink heart.
  2. Create your own “matchmaker” memory game.
    • Give each kid two blank note cards.
    • Ask them to write down one half of a famous pair on each card.
      • For example, Romeo and Juliet, peanut butter and jelly, Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse.
    • Turn the finished cards upside-down, mix them up and play the memory game!
  3. After the games, hand out your personalized My Fruit Roll-Ups snacks to all your little cupids and matchmakers.
